I reckon Ericeira is the Portuguese equivalent of Byron Bay. Cool vibes via the young international surf crowd moving through daily. Fun bars and beaches combine with the emerging bunch of creatives joining the coastal hub from various parts of the world, while European and Brazilian pro surfers set up residence due to the consistency of waves here. The energy is infectious and the lifestyle is "feel good".
The town itself bursts with natural charm through the typical coastal Portuguese blue and white architecture, cobbled stone streets and local fisherman lining the walls waiting for the sun to set in the west.
Our beautiful friend Bianca is from Porto, the Portuguese city about 2 hours north. We spent the afternoon with local imports Miki and Reny, strolling the streets in the afternoon glow, shooting photos and tasting the last of our European summer in Feel Good Ericeira.
