A warm breeze. Warm Oceans. A blaring sun. The freedom to think, feel and simply be. This is Byron Bay.

With crystal clear oceans and one my best friends swimming out ahead of me, I couldn’t help but risk the life of my camera to snap this shot // Photo by Gabi Mulder @gabimulder

This past New Years Eve was spent with 5 of my close girlfriends down on an empty beach just outside of Byron Bay. We spent the day baking and cooking up a feast, took it down to this beach and had the most beautiful beach picnic. As the sun was setting and these incredible colours started to show, we all jumped up, took our clothes off and ran straight into the ocean. Happy New Year!!! // Photo by Gabi Mulder @gabimulder

I’d just returned from living in New York and knew I wasn’t quite ready to get back to normal life. So my friend Ally and I booked a campervan for the week and travelled from beach to beach down the coast // Photo by Gabi Mulder @gabimulder

We ended up arriving at our destination five hours late after we got disastrously lost on a road trip. Capturing a pretty sunset in the process though. All worth it // Photo by Gabi Mulder @gabimulder
