The WSL Bells Beach super heat with John Florence and Mick Fanning captured by our #summerseekers photographer Ruby Ryan during Easter in Torquay, Victoria.

The question on everybody’s mind; ‘Can anyone stop John John Florence?’ Coming off a fresh first place finish at the Margaret River Pro and looking for his first win at Bells, the man in the Jeep Leaders jersey seemed unstoppable. If there was anyone who could eliminate John from the competition, it would be Mick Fanning. The 4-time bell ringer was a favourite going into the event, and knocked out huge competition in past heats including Kelly Slater and Owen Wright. All eyes were on the water as the local’s favourite took on 2016’s world champ. - @rubyr111
