Fancy switching off from technology and going on a glamping getaway? We think we might have found the perfect spot to have a wine and slow down.
Sitting high on the hills of Kimo in Nangus near Gundagai is the luxury glamping J.R Eco Hut. The estate, set on 7,000 acres is a working sheep and cattle farm and it's one of the oldest in the regions.
This eco hut is off the grid with no wifi access or technology to distract you from the uninterrupted, 360-degree views over the Murrumbidgee River flats/Kimo Valley. Architecturally designed by Anthony Hunt and Luke Stanley, it costs $350 for one night and your stay comes complete with breakfast and there's a bbq outside so you can watch the morning sun, rise and the sunset sink in.
You'll find us on the balcony drinking red wine with the sun coming down.
